Deck restoration: new boards and a full stain
The deck floor had weathered to gray and the boards were worn. We replaced the decking with new pressure-treated lumber, then stained the floor, railing and stairs in a deep red to match the brick. The same deck, now safe to walk on barefoot.

Backyard pond and drainage
Built from scratch: we dug the hole, set a preformed pond level in the ground, and finished it with a flagstone surround, plus a channel drain along the house wall so runoff moves away from the foundation instead of pooling against it.

Artificial turf play area
A bare side yard that we built into a play area from scratch: artificial turf, stepping pads, a low wood fence, and a channel drain along the wall so the turf drains after Austin downpours.

Front-yard trees, edging and limestone rings
New trees staked and finished with clean mulch rings, planting beds edged in steel by the front steps, and on another home, limestone block rings around the trees with a matching bed border.
