Maintenance and Care:

  • Pruning: Prune the tree in late winter or early spring to remove dead, damaged, or crossing branches. This helps maintain its structure and promotes healthy growth.
  • Pests and Diseases: The Mexican Buckeye is relatively pest-resistant but may occasionally suffer from aphids, scale insects, or leaf spot diseases. Proper spacing and good air circulation around the tree can help reduce the incidence of disease.
